This business is run by a Sydney family that got tired of watching people get burned by call-out fees and quotes that grow on the invoice. We set out to change how people see plumbers, one emergency at a time.

When you call, you deal with our family's team, not a call centre. A real person answers, day or night, and the price we agree on before we start is the price you pay.

What Counts as a Plumbing Emergency?

Not every drip needs a call at 2am, but plenty of plumbing problems genuinely can't wait. Here's how to read the signs, and what to do while you're waiting on us.

Emergencies That Can't Wait

Burst pipes, no hot water, a blocked or overflowing toilet, a blocked drain backing up and a suspected gas leak all belong on this list. Ring us straight away for any of them.

Problems That Can Usually Hold

A drain running slow but not backing up, or a tap that drips without flooding anything, can often wait for a normal booking. Call anyway if you're not sure which camp yours falls into.

If You Smell Gas

Get outside first and leave the switches alone. Ring 000 once you're clear if the smell won't ease off, and we'll send a gas fitter after that.

  • Suspected gas leak. A gas or rotten-egg smell, hissing near a fitting, or a dead pilot. Get everyone outside, don't touch switches, and call 000 if it's strong. Then call us from a safe spot. Our licensed gas fitters treat this as top priority once you're safely clear.
  • Burst or badly leaking pipe. You can hear running water in a wall or see it spreading across the floor. Shut off the mains, move valuables clear, and mop what you safely can. Call straight away. The sooner the water's off and we're there, the less damage there is.
  • No hot water. Pilot light out, error on the unit, or water pooling under the tank. Don't try to relight or reset a faulty unit yourself. We can often get hot water back the same day, with a fixed price upfront.
  • Blocked or overflowing toilet. Water rising in the bowl, slow drain, or gurgling from other fixtures. Stop flushing and don't use other drains until we've had a look. We'll clear the line and check the cause, with the price agreed first.
  • Blocked drain backing up. Water draining slowly, bad smells, or gurgling pipes. Ease off using water in the house until the line's clear. We'll find the blockage properly and clear it, quoting fixed beforehand.

The Plumbing Problems Bonnyrigg Sees Most

Bonnyrigg Avenue still runs past pockets of the original 1960s Housing Commission estate, brick-veneer and fibro homes that predate the suburb's Newleaf rebuild. Those older properties are exactly where ageing hot water units tend to fail, usually without warning.

Elizabeth Drive marks roughly where more than 800 of those original dwellings gave way to 2,330 newer houses, townhouses and units. Around the newer streets, hot water systems are younger, but plenty of older stock nearby is still running units well past their prime.

  • Original brick-veneer and fibro places, many on their first or second hot water unit since the 1960s or 1970s.
  • Newer Newleaf builds, with a completely different pipework age again.
  • A genuine mix of both on the same streets, so we carry parts for old systems and new alike.

A dead hot water unit overnight goes straight to our hot water repairs crew, usually the same day.

The Areas We Cover Around Bonnyrigg

We're on the road across this stretch of Fairfield, without a long drive in from elsewhere:

All of that sits within Fairfield City Council, and we're somewhere in it most days of the week.

The Difference When You Call Us

Families make up most of the households we visit, more often in houses than units, and that shapes how we work. You get a straight answer and the price up front, never an upsell.

  • We're local, so we know the streets and we get to you quicker.
  • There's no long drive from the other side of the city.
  • Same-day help across the area, with no call-out fee to turn up.
  • Every plumber on the tools is licensed, and our gas fitters are too.
  • We're family-run, and this trade has been the family business for 10+ years.

The Callout, From Quote to Warranty

  • First, we talk it through. When you call, we help you decide the safe next move right away.
  • Then we look properly. On site, we lay out your options clearly before choosing a path.
  • You say yes to the quote. No pressure and no upselling, just a fixed price you approve.
  • We fix it and stand behind it. The labour on the job is guaranteed for life.

Most straightforward callouts wrap up in one visit; if yours won't, we'll say so before we start.

How Our Upfront Fixed Pricing Works

Nobody should have to guess the bill while the water's still running.

That's why we settle the price before the work, not after.

What Bonnyrigg's Homes Mean for Your Pipes

Heavy rain tells the other half of the story here. The suburb sits at the head of Clear Paddock Creek, with its southern edge draining toward Cabramatta Creek, and plenty of lots carry overland-flow notations on their planning certificates.

Reactive clay ground shifts with the seasons, and it's part of why older clay drainage under the estate streets cracks and lets tree roots in. Storm season adds a second layer on top: heavy downpours push stormwater systems past what they can handle, and gullies that normally cope start backing up.

The medium mix of houses, townhouses and units means we see stack-related hot water trouble in the newer blocks and root-choked ground lines in the old streets, sometimes on the same callout. That combination explains why strata and unit jobs have made up more of our week lately.

Welcome

Not a Call Centre, a Local Family Team

Whoever answers the phone actually knows the trade, because this has been a family business for 10+ years now, not a script read by a stranger.

We started on a simple idea: tell people the price before you touch anything, and stand behind the work after. That's still how every job runs, from a dripping tap to a burst main.

Common questions

Your Emergency Plumbing Questions, Answered

Here are the questions we hear most often. Call (02) 9054 3067 if yours isn't covered below.

Do you handle strata or apartment plumbing in Bonnyrigg?

Yes, the Newleaf rebuild added townhouses and units alongside the older houses, so strata and apartment callouts are a normal part of the week. We quote the job the same way regardless, with the price settled before we start.

What are the first steps in a plumbing emergency?

Turn the water off at the meter if you can reach it, and keep clear of anything electrical nearby. Then call (02) 9054 3067 and we'll talk you through what to do until a plumber arrives.

What's the $65 off offer about?

New customers get $65 off their first service when they book with us. It stacks on top of the price we agree before any work starts, so there's no catch.

Can I pay after the job is done?

Yes, payment happens once the work is finished and you're happy with it, not before. We'll talk through the options when we're on site quoting the job.

Will I know the price before you start?

We always inspect the problem, put the price in writing, and only start once you've said yes. What we quote is what you pay.

Can I reach a plumber in the middle of the night?

Yes, a real person answers around the clock, not a machine. If it genuinely can't wait until morning, say so and we'll have a plumber heading your way.
